We charge one $99 all-inclusive annual installation and service fee. Some companies charge a basic annual fee with additional charges for extra call outs or when your alarms need to be replaced (and these vary depending on what type of alarm you have and if it is hard-wired), so you never really know what you’re going to be up for each year. When you join Smoke Alarms there are no additional or hidden charges and there is absolutely no more to pay! The fee is fixed no matter how many alarms we replace or how many times we visit your property during the year. And unlike most companies, this includes hard-wired alarms. For as little as $0.27 per day is it worth the risk of not being protected?

Carbon Monoxide Alarms in Rental Properties
In late 2010, the Federal Parliament unanimously voted
to support a private member’s motion that would see The Council of Australian
Governments work with each state and territory in Australia to pass legislation
that would regulate the installation of carbon monoxide alarms and the testing
of gas appliances in rental properties.

Family suffers tragic loss while waiting for broken smoke alarm to be fixed
Ms Kovacs and six of her children, aged between seven weeks and 15, managed to escape the fire, but her four-year-old son was not with them.
Investigators believe the fire could have been deliberately lit, according to Network Ten, who were told the family had been waiting for the housing commission to fix their broken smoke alarm.

Experts unsurprised by the tragedy of four more house fire related deaths...
So far this winter, we’ve seen more than 500 house fires and now 9 fatalities in NSW alone. It’s a frightening statistic, but one that will continue to rise say the experts, unless people start taking fire safety seriously.
